Billy was a heavy equipment operator for most of his adult life and was well known as “one of the best.” He was employed with Luhr/Crosby Construction out of Columbia, Illinois. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and playing golf with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Billy leaves behind four sons, Joseph Jackson (Tiffany), Clifford Jackson (Samantha), Caden Wellson (Cory) and Heath Jackson, all of Counce, Tennessee; a nephew, Chad Franks of Los Angeles, California, that he considered his son; two daughters, Earla “Peewee” Jenkins (Robby) and Mackenzie “baby girl” Jackson (Tyler Franks); six grandbabies, Payton Jackson, Alydia Jenkins, River Jenkins, Paige Jackson, Corbyn Jackson, and Walker Tate Jackson, all of Counce, Tennessee; sister, Lisa Fernandez of Miami, Florida; brother, James Jackson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who were like family, especially his work buddies.
