Tommy Grady Tommy Grady, of Sardis, was born in Gibson County, Tenn. on Jan. 27, 1947, the son of the late Early Henderson and Mable Laverne Barron Grady. On Dec. 15, 1995, he was united in marriage to Pamela Brown, who survives. Mr. Grady was the director for the Jack Gean Shelter for Men in Savannah. He had also worked for Aspell Recovery Center and JACOA in Jackson, Tenn. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, helping other people, reading, collecting coins and stamps. He loved his grandchildren. Mr. Grady had lived in Gibson County until 1999 when he moved to Sardis. He was a member of the Sinners Hope Church, NCAC and DAV. Mr. Grady was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving two theaters in Vietnam. Mr. Grady departed this life on Friday, March 11, at the age of 64 years, 1 month, 12 days. In addition to his wife, Pamela, he is survived by two daughters, Shonda Kay Mason and husband Mark of Milan, Tenn., Donna Sue Hart and husband David of Gadsden, Tenn.; three sons, Robert Earl Grady of Bells, Tenn., Anthony Wayne Grady of Humboldt, Tenn. and Brian Earl Greene of Jackson, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Tamara Cossey, Labren Rich, Allison Rich, Kayla Grady and Robert Grady; a great-grandchild, Lareighla Grady; two sisters, Joy Dycus and husband Phil, Florence Moore and husband David all of Bradford, Tenn.; a brother, Ricky Grady of Knoxville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, June Grady and Donna Sue Grady; two brothers, Basil Grady and Carl Grady. Services were held on Wednesday, March 16, at 3 p.m., at Sinners Hope Church in Sardis with Lloyd Blankenship and Harold Montgomery officiating. Burial was in the McBride Cemetery at Henderson County, Tenn.
