Sue Story (2-11-14) service 2-13-14

Sue Perry Story was born in Hardin County, Dec. 10, 1939, the daughter of the late William Taft and Bertha Lee Franks Perry. On Dec. 17, 1956, she was united in marriage to Billy Story, who survives.

Mrs. Story had worked 16 years for Savannah Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed growing flowers and playing with her grandchildren.

She departed this life Tuesday, Feb. 11, in Savannah at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 1 day.

In addition to her husband Billy of Savannah, she is survived by her children, Belinda Wolfe and her husband Michael and Joe Story and his wife Diane, all of Savannah; three grandchildren, Zachary Lynn Wolfe, Christy Ann Shelby and Jolie Ann Story; two great-grandchildren, Faith Ann and J. C. Shelby; a brother, Bob Perry of Savannah and a sister, Nancy Curtis of Savannah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Christi Diane Story Patterson, a brother, William “Pee Wee” Perry and a sister, Betty Lou Reed.

Services were held Thursday, Feb. 13, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Smith officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
