Shellaine Wilbanks
Shellaine Wilbanks, 52, of Counce, died Friday, April 12.
She was born in Memphis, daughter of the late Earl and Jane Elizabeth Hope Brown. She was united in marriage to Willie Joe Wilbanks, who survives.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant for McNairy County Healthcare Center in Selmer. She was a member of Childers Hill Pentecostal Church in Counce.
Services were held on Monday, April 15, at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church in Counce, with Pat Terry, David Cummings officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery at Michie.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Joe Wilbanks of Counce; daughter, Sorrell Goff of Selmer; stepsons, Stanley Ray Wilbanks of Savannah, Delphus Joe Wilbanks of Jacksonville, S.C., Steven Anthony Wilbanks of Michie and Wathon J. Wilbanks of Milledgeville; stepdaughters, Pam Williams of Savannah and China Lynn Horton of Michie; two grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Brown of Selmer; sisters, Billi Hope Sanders of Selmer, Jody Poindexter of Adamsville and Kelly Brown of Independence, Mo.
She was also preceded in death by sisters, Donna Brown and Janet Brown; and two grandchildren.
