Shelby Cotner
Shelby Ann Cotner, 84, of Counce, passed away on Thursday, July 3, the daughter of the late George and Lynard McCain.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Cotner, who preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Cotner worked as a seamstress for Garan Manufacturing and as a driver for Southwest Human Resource Agency. She was a member Counce Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Cotner; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Shelby was preceded in death by her sisters, Leller Mae Dixon and Minnie Rae Dixon; and brother, George Oneil McCain.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Maxie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh, Tennessee.
