Sandra Perry (12-28-23) service 1-5-24

Sandra Kaye Highland Perry, 71, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28. She was born on May 1, 1952, in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late R.C. and Lillie Dee Benson Highland.

Sandra was loved all types of animals.

She is survived by her son, David W. Perry of Savannah; daughter, Melissa R. Thompson and her husband Rick of Jacksonville, North Carolina; brother, Dennis Highland of Savannah; sister, Treasa Highland Petty of Savannah; and grandchildren, Zachary Thompson and Vincent Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Golomski; and brothers, J.C. Highland, Larry Highland, David Smith and Greg Highland.

Memorial services were held on Friday, Jan. 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with David Highland officiating. Burial followed at Hollands Creek Cemetery in Savannah.
