Sandra Bowen

Sandra Gale Bowen, 71, of Savannah, departed this life on Monday, January 19, in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Homer and Louise Harris Turnbow.
She was united in marriage to Freddie Bowen who survives.
Of all of Sandra’s working years, her favorite job was as a nursing home CNA. Sandra was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of 52 years, Freddie Bowen, she is survived by her son Jeremy Bowen; brother,Doug Turnbow, and her one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Hugh Arthur and Fanny Ada Depriest Turnbow; her maternal grandparents Richard Clarence and Lessie Mae Harris; her parents Homer and Louise Turnbow; and her beloved daughter Tonia Bowen.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, January 22, Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Eric Smith officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
