Ruby Irene Reeves Franks Hollins, 79, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Sept. 8.
She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Henry and Ida Guin Reeves. She was united in marriage to Ellis Willard Franks, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to her second husband, James Hollins, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela Stumbaugh, Patsy Stricklin and Reda McLin, all of Savannah, and Wanda Spivey of Yulee, Florida; one sister, Robbie Lawson of Florence, Alabama; brothers, Johnny Reeves and Rayford Reeves, both of Florence, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild; brothers, Jeff Reeves and Buddy Reeves; and sisters, Viva Oakley, Marie Borden and Dean Tate.
Services were held on Friday, Sept. 14, at Church of God in Savannah with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial followed in Cromwells Crossroads Cemetery at Collinwood.
