Robbie Bowling departed this life on Friday, Dec. 20, at the age of 85 years, 1 month, 25 days. Robbie was born in Hardin County, on Oct. 25, 1928, the daughter of the late Marion Eugene and Mamie Sparks Adams. On April 16, 1949, she was united in marriage to Frank Lee Bowling, who preceded her in death on May 21, 1994.
Robbie was a lifelong Hardin countian and was employed with Brown Shoe Company as a shoe cutter for 49 years. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Robbie was an active member of Pyburn Union Church and enjoyed cooking for the church. She was also a member of Local #371 Eastern Star Savannah Chapter.
Robbie is survived by a sister, Dorothy Adams Williams of Savannah; nieces, Sandra Moore and Judy Wilkerson both of Savannah; nephew, Robert Williams of Savannah; great-niece, Mindy Cromwell of Counce; great-nephew, Matthew Williams
of Medina; great-great nieces, Kyleigh and Karrson Cromwell both of Counce and step great-niece, Brandy Wilkerson of Jersey
City, N.J.
Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 22, at Pyburn Union Church in Savannah with Tony Polk and Harry Nolen officiating. Burial followed at Pyburn Cemetery in Savannah.
