Ricky Garrard (6-9-21) service 6-13-21

Ricky Garrard, 63, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, June 9.

He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Ben Hardin Garrard and Geneva Mearl Franks Garrard.

Mr. Garrard was a lead mechanic at Brown Shoe Company. He was the former preacher at Old Country Church. He enjoyed playing music and making music videos.

He is survived by his children, Brandon Garrard, Jeffery Garrard, Brittany Garrard and Shannon Garrard; sister, Ann Willoughby; brother, Billy Garrard; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Anderson.

Services were held on Sunday, June 13, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Jim Reaves officiating. Burial followed in Mount Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
