Paul C. Reed (11-30-14)

Paul C. Reed, 84, of Counce, died Sunday, Nov. 30.
 He was born on July 28, 1930, to the late Cleve and Nannie Rose Reed.
Mr. Reed served his country in the National Guard. He also worked as a laborer for Union 41 Construction on Highway 41. He was a member of the Construction Workers Labor Union 41 of Hammond, Indiana. Paul lived in Hardin County for most of his life, but also spent 20 to 25 years in Hammond, Indiana. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish.
Paul is survived by his children, Martha Dean Beard of Liberty Hill, Texas, William C. Reed of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Edward B. Reed and Barbara A. Muehlbauer, both of Savannah; brothers, Leon Reed and Gene Allen Reed, both of Savannah; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Frances, Ruby, Fred, Morris and John H. Reed; and two grandchildren.
