Murlene Austin Reed, 62, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Dec. 22. She was born in Hardin County the daughter of John Henry Tidwell and the late Gladys Marie Jones Franks.
Ms. Reed worked at Clayton Mobile Homes.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Johnny Ray Austin and Lisa Gail Cummings, both of Savannah, and Tammy Renay Terry Worley of Counce; four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren and a brother, David Earl Tidwell of Savannah.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Henry Tidwell.
Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 26, in Savannah with Jim Wright officiating. Burial followed at Mount Hermon Cemetery in Hardin County.
