Mike LaBrant (5-1-11) services 5-6-11

Mike LaBrant was born in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 23, 1939, the son of the late Wilson J. LaBrant Sr. and Mary Wrath LaBrant.

Mr. LaBrant was united in marriage to Mabel LaBrant.

Mr. LaBrant worked in Brevard County, Fla., in road and bridge work.

He departed this life on Sunday, May 1, in Jackson, Tenn., at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 8 days.

In addition to his wife, Mabel of Savannah, he is survived by one brother, Wilson J. LaBrant, Jr. (Bud) of Huntley, Ill.; and many other loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Blum.

Services were held on Friday, May 6, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mark LaRue officiating.
