Mattie Taylor (7-3-16) service 7-6-16

Mattie Lou Taylor, 82, of Counce, died on Sunday, July 3, at Southern Magnolia Estates.
She was born in Ben Hill County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Will and Jessie Luke. She was united in marriage to Hardy C. Taylor, who survives.
Mrs. Taylor worked for the Social Security Administration for 33 years. She was a member of Germantown Baptist Church, Counce Baptist Church and Kings Daughters and Sons.
In addition to her husband Hardy, she is survived by one son, Hardy Alan Taylor of Germantown, Tennessee; and one brother, Wayne Luke of Fitzgerald, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Hudson.
Services were held on Wednesday, July 6, at Counce First Baptist Church with Ken Story, Rev. Jimmie McChristial and Roger Wood officiating. Burial followed in Shanghai Cemetery at Hardin County.
