Mary George Jones (2-13-14) service 2-23-14

Mary George Jones, 83, went to live with Jesus, Thursday, Feb. 13.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Edward Jones.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jones is survived by a son William Edward Jones; a daughter, Cynthia Susan Bowen and husband Larry; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three sisters and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Savannah with Arnold Newman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of  Mary to the church or organization of your choice.
