Marsha Kay Chambers, 74, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, in Savannah.
She was born in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Alva C. and Anna Smith. She was united in marriage to Allen Chambers, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Chambers worked as a librarian in Dyersburg, Tennessee and was of Baptist belief.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Shelby Jr. of Sheffield, Alabama and Bruce Shelby of Counce; daughter, Terri Shelby of Savannah; six sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah. Burial followed in Grace Cemetery at Ripley, Tennessee.
