Larry Gray, 82, of Savannah, departed this life on Saturday, October 25, the son of the late James Loyt and Celesta Elizabeth LaFrain Gray.
He was united in marriage to Karen Ann Snowden, who survives.
Larry served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He had worked as an electrical contractor and was an electrical math teacher at Memphis State University. Larry was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, Karen Ann Gray, he is survived by his children, Robin Gray, Daniel “Scott” Gray, John “Phillip” Gray, and Amanda Gray Acosta; stepdaughter, Tammy Knight; 10 grandchildren; and sister, Mariallie Smithson.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Browder.
