Larry Chumney (12-10-16) service 6-24-17

Larry Chumney, 73, died Dec. 10, 2016, from complication of diabetes.
He was raised in Covington, Tennessee, on a family farm, later owning a produce stand in Somerville, Tennessee, for many years until forced to retire because of health problems. He was never married and has no children.
Mr. Chumney served honorably in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Cold War.
He is survived by his brothers, Bond L. Chumney of Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Paul G. Chumney of Nettleton, Mississippi; and his sisters; Carole S. Pinkerton of Port Charlotte, Florida and Valery F. Salls of  Savannah.
He will be interned in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery with a military ceremony on June 24.
