John Reed
John Henry Reed, 91, of Savannah, departed this life on Saturday, November 22, the son of the late Price Andrew and Altie Kiddy Reed.
He was united in marriage to Linda Harville, who survives.
John retired from the logging business. Before he retired, he helped Rex Lineberry baling and hauling hay.
He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Reed; son, Ricky Reed Sr.; daughter, Deborah Reed Mancell; stepdaughters, Vicki Hunt and Pamela Carroll; stepson, Larry Pickens; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Reed; sisters, Maysel Baker and Artie Mae Hubbard; brothers, R.D. Reed and Albert Reed; and one grandson.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, November 26, at Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery in Savannah, Tennessee, with Joe Loncar officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery in Savannah, Tennessee.
