Jimmy E. Thornton, 60, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Adamsville. He was born in Shreveport, La., the son of the late James D. and Nevon Ellerbe Thornton.
Mr. Thornton retired from T. D. S. Construction where he worked as a foreman.
He is survived by his sister, Kay Fowler of Savannah.
