Jimmy Lee Johnson, 62, of Clifton, died Friday, Jan. 17, in Nashville. He was born in Waynesboro, the son of Ben Johnson and the late Anna Sue Butler Johnson.
Mr. Johnson worked for and owned Jimmy Johnson Trackhoe Service.
In addition to his father he is survived by his children, Lisa Ann Holstein of Geismar, La., Misty Johnson of Winston Salem, N.C., Stephen Johnson of Baxter, and Timmy Pendergrass of La Verkin, Utah; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Kelley of Savannah and Joyce Bain of Clifton, and a brother, Scott Johnson of Euharlee, Ga.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Leigh Ann Johnson.
Services were held Sunday, Jan. 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Clyde Carroll officiating. Burial followed at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hardin County.
