Jessie Fisher (5-19-22) service 5-25-22

Jessie Fisher, 95, of Savannah, died on Thursday, May 19, in Savannah.

She was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Nollie Faulkner Brown. She was united in marriage to Roy G. Fisher, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fisher owned a general store and previously worked for the state of Tennessee in Nashville. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Powell of Apollo Beach, Florida; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, RC Brown Jr.; sisters, Verlon Shelby, Virginia Martin, and Shirley Anderson.

Services were held on Wednesday, May 25, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Andrew Bosak officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
