Janet Littlefield (3-6-14) service 3-8-14

Janet Littlefield was born in Stantonville on May 1, 1941, the daughter of Clyde Kennedy Traylor and the late Eldon Kennedy. On Feb. 19, 1959, she was united in marriage to Harold Littlefield, who survives.

Janet was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tenn., where she was a member of the choir for more than 60 years. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and florist. Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She departed this life March 6, in Savannah at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 3 days.

In addition to her husband Harold of 55 years, she is survived by her children, Barry Littlefield and his wife Jenny of Mount Pleasant, Miss., and Lanetta Heyen and her husband Michael of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Greg Littlefield and his wife Kaila of Savannah, Josh Littlefield and his wife Lauren of Forney, Texas, Tray Littlefield and his wife Sarah of Birmingham, Ala., Adam Littlefield of Adamsville, Aaron Littlefield and his wife Liz of Cullowhee, N. C., Brady Heyen of Franklin, Anna Grace Heyen of Franklin and Colton Heyen of Franklin; five great-grandchildren, Jace Littlefield, Ella Claire Littlefield, Jett Littlefield and Demi Littlefield, all of Savannah and Holt Littlefield of Forney, Texas; her mother, Clyde Kennedy Traylor and her husband Edward of Adamsville; four sisters, Jeanell Qualls and her husband Owen of Stantonville, Geneva Seaton and her husband Elmer of Adamsville, Genieve Smith of Hendersonville and Geraldine Adkisson and her husband Rex of Savannah; a brother, Billy Joe Kennedy and his wife Sue of Savannah.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Brent Littlefield, a daughter, Carrie Littlefield and a brother -in-law, Jerald Smith.

Services were held Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Adamsville with Barry Littlefield and Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial followed at Adamsville Cemetery in Adamsville.
