James R. Kindrick, 92, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, the son of the late Samuel B. and Mildred Lucille Cross Kindrick.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Russom, who preceded her husband in death.
Mr. Kindrick worked in production making American Home Products for Boyle Midway. He was Southern Baptist in belief.
He is survived by his daughters; brothers, Gene Kindrick and J.W. Kindrick; sisters, Faye Shankles, Mildred Tacker, and Kathleen Roberts; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, James was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin Kindrick, Charles Kindrick, and Tommy Kindrick; and sisters, Martha Coln, Bettye Jean Coln, and Nellie Carter.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, August 28, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Henry Richerson officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville, Tennessee.
