James Sullivan “Bro. Jim” Griffith, 76, of Savannah, died Monday, Oct. 7.
He was the son of the late Grant Sullivan and Cardelia Hamby Griffith.
He was a pastor in the United Methodist Church. For half a century, he served small rural churches all over Western Tennessee and Kentucky until his retirement in 2014.
He was a member at Crump United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Mott Griffith; his children, Margaret “Annette” and James Andrew “Andy;” and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Peebles Funeral Home at Somerville, Tennessee.
