Idonas Tucker (1-6-24) service 1-10-23

Idonas Tucker, 102, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 6, the daughter of the late Ben Herbert and Vestie Ann Geathing Morgan.

She was united in marriage to Jesse Boyd Tucker, who preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Tucker was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Women’s Club at Sardis, and Home Demonstration of Henderson County. Prior to her retirement, she worked in a nursing home, school, and at Saltillo HIS factory.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Hanna; son, Jerry Boyd Tucker; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Idonas was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Bingham; son in law, Norris Bingham; brother, Houston Morgan; sisters, Evie Montgomery, Ruth Morgan Carver and Hazel Lomax; and three infant siblings.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Jan.10, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Bath Springs, Tennessee, with Phil Bridges, Dennis Cordle officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath Springs.
