Frank Wilbourne (11-23-23) no service information

Frank R Wilbourne, 91, of Collierville, Tennessee, formerly of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 23, the son of C.R. “Bugs” and Emily Lois Walker Wilbourne.

He graduated from Central High School in Savannah and earned his B.S. Degree at Memphis State College.

After serving in the military for 18 months, he earned his Law Degree and was a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.

Frank was employed 31 years with the Social Security Administration; serving in numerous management, advisory and administrative positions. He also worked for a U.S. Congressman and a U.S. Senator.

He was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Germantown, Tennessee, and was chairman of the building committee for the First Presbyterian Church in Savannah.

He is survived by his daughter, Debra Banker, three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Maxine McCool Wilbourne; and daughter, Francine Lois Wilbourne.
