Frances Hill
Frances Pinson Hill, 95, of Savannah, died Monday, Jan. 7.
She was born in Hardin County, daughter of the late Frank and Etta Tanner Pinson. She married Turner P. Hill, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Graham United Methodist Church in Savannah. She was a homemaker.
Services were held on Friday, January 11, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah with Willie Paul Kilburn officiating. Burial followed in the Graham Cemetery at Savannah.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Hill of Savannah and Joel Hill of Gary, Ind.; and three daughters, Jackie Sutton of Gary, Ind., Linda Holland of Savannah and Ruby Martin of Nashville; one sister, Bessie Austin and one brother, Joe Pinson, both of Savannah; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by six children, Larry Hill, Glenn Hill, Billy Hill, Ronnie and Donnie Hill (twins), and Sis Hill; two sisters, Catherine Paulk and Carrie Hughes; and one brother, Sammy Pinson; and four grandchildren.
