Eunice Haggard Eunice Cagle Haggard, 87, of Savannah, died Wednesday, March 10. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Lloyd Hasson and Carrie Finley Turner Cagle. She was united in marriage to Otis Byron "Sam" Haggard, who preceded her in death . Mrs. Haggard had been employed with Brown Shoe Company for 25 years as a insoler before retiring. She was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church. Services were held on Friday, March 12, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Tony Polk officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Ann Haggard Fentress of Greenbriar, Tenn.; a son, Roy Gene Haggard of Savannah, Tennessee; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother, Burnace Cagle of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; and a sister, Grace Holt of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Otis and L.H. Cagle Jr.; two sisters, Ruth Delaney and Ina Kate Blackwelder.
