Emma Jane Brown, 63, of Savannah, died on Friday, Nov. 15, at her residence. She was born in Clifton, Tenn., the daughter of the late Samuel Bennett and Mable Garrard Brown.
She worked in the kitchen at CCA in Clifton, Tenn. She was a member of New Creation Ministries in Savannah.
Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Steve Nielsen officiating. Burial followed at Clifton Cemetery in Clifton, Tenn.
Emma Jane is survived by her children, Robbie Bumphus of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Patty Bumphus and Paula Casey both of Clifton, Tenn. and Jessica Eisenhut of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Brown of Waynesboro, Tenn. and Dennis Brown Smithland, Ky.; sisters, Helen Irving of Michie, Kathy Poyner of Illinois, and Charlotte King of Toone, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Brown.
