Douglas "Doug" Parson

Douglas Ray “Doug” Parson, 83, of Michie, departed this life on Saturday, January 10, the son of the late Hobert Lee and Lola McGee Parson.
Doug worked as a farmer. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda Counce; brothers, Lanny Joe Parson and Neil Parson and his wife Martha; and brother-in-law, Raymond Marolt; sister-in-law, Anna Joyce Parson.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Gene Parson; sister, Linda Marolt; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Counce.
Memorial services was held on Tuesday, January 13, 20 at The Full Gospel Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Corinth, Mississippi, with Donald Boren and Greg Hisaw officiating. Burial followed at the Center Hill Cemetery in Counce, Tennessee.
