Dorothy Wilkes (8-19-15) service 8-21-15

Dorothy Jean Wilkes, 80, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Aug. 19.
She was born in Henderson County, the daughter of the late Alton Edgar and Ruby Frances Goff Weatherford.
Mrs. Wilkes was a customer service representative for the Hardin County Agriculture Department.
She is survived by her husband, Landis Wilkes of Savannah; children, Ronnie Wilkes and Marcy Kilburn, both of Savannah; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Morris of Jackson, Tennessee, Ruth Hopper of Camden, Tennessee, and Charlotte Tucker of Huntingdon, Tennessee; brothers, Charles Weatherford of Clarksburg, Tennessee, and James Weatherford of Jackson, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Friday, Aug. 21, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Smith officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
