Dorothy Rich, 83, of Savannah, died on Friday, May 25.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Marvin H. and Madron E. Stanfield Garrard.
She was united in marriage to James Hundley Rich, who survives.
Dorothy was of Baptist belief and worked as a homemaker since 1949.
In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her children, James Rayburn Rich of Savannah and Marilyn Putman of Waterloo, Alabama; half-sister, Sue Nell Dickey of Sheffield, Alabama; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
Services were held on Sunday, May 27, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Patrick Godwin and Lonnie Godwin officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
