Donie Reaves Mary Dona "Donie" Reaves, 87, of Michie, died Thursday, Feb. 2, in Michie. She was born in Michie, the daughter of the late Phillip Homer and Nancy Pearl Bolding Price. She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Reaves, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Reaves was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church in Michie. While living in Memphis, she was an active member of the Eastside Nazarene Church. She was the president of the World Mission Society, taught Sunday school, sang specials with her husband, played the guitar and help teach at vacation Bible school. Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 4, at New Hope Methodist Church in Michie with David Harstin, Shane Price officiating. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery at Michie. She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Seavers of Eads, Tenn.; three sons, Phillip and Ralph Reaves, both of Michie, Dennis Reaves of Southaven, Miss.;19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; host of extended family. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Edward Reaves; two brothers, David Arnold and Lawson Grady "L.G." Price.
