Danny Cossey (1-9-15) service 1-12-15

Danny L. “DC” Cossey, 58, of Savannah, died Friday, Jan. 9, in Savannah.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Emmit Calvin and Laura Louise Barrier Cossey.
Mr. Cossey worked for American Food Service and Clayton Homes and recently enjoyed retirement. He was a member of the Savannah Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his children, Anna Marie Cossey, Benjamin Nathaniel Cossey and Joshua Chase Cossey, all of Savannah and Jimmy Dan Cossey of Dickson, Tennessee; one grandchild; two brothers, Jimmy Dale Cossey and Donnie Lyn Cossey, both of Savannah; and one sister, Susan Renee Cossey Buczynski of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cossey was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Marie Cossey Babb; and one brother, Edward Calvin Cossey.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 12, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Charles Linam and Jimmy McGee officiating. Burial followed in White’s Creek Cemetery at Hardin County.
