Crash claims driver's life in Shiloh

A local man was killed in a one vehicle crash Friday night.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the victim as Franklin Smith, 30, who was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that crashed on Tenn. 22 near the intersection of Bark Lane in Shiloh. There were no other occupants.
The Hardin County Fire Department was dispatched to the scene at 8:03 p.m. The vehicle hit a tree and the driver was not responsive, according to a HCFD report.
The THP said Smith was not wearing a seat belt.
