Clarence Hixson

Clarence Thomas “Tom” Hixson Jr., 71, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, the son of the late Clarence Thomas Hixson Sr. and Virginia Lee Masters Hixson.
He was united in marriage to Nita L. Franks, who survives.
Tom received his masters degree in structural engineering and would go on to work for over 30 years as a structural engineer.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Hixson.
He is survived by his wife, Nita Hixson; daughter, Lindsay Butler; son, Kevin Hixson; and sister, Lisa Hinton.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hardin Home.
