Bill Sugg, 69, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, May 9, the son of Martha Jo Tate Sugg and the late Lemuel Davis Sugg, Jr.
He was united in marriage to Vicki Faith, who survives.
Mr. Sugg honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He earned his Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. From 1989 to 2009, he served as President and CEO of Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. in Gallatin, Tennessee. He later worked as a Tennessee Healthcare Consultant in Portland, Tennessee from 2010 until 2023. Bill was a member of the American Hospital Association and American College of Healthcare Executives and was a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Sugg; daughter, Sarah Morris; sons, Turney Sugg and Boo Weeks; mother, Martha Jo Sugg; siblings, Russel Davis Sugg, Margaret Jolene Sugg Ford, and Peter Lemuel Sugg; and seven grandchildren.
The family requests Memorial Donations be made to the Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday May 15, 2p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, Tennessee, with Allen Guyer officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Savannah, Tennessee.
