Betty "Molly" Sanford

Betty Maureen “Molly” Montgomery Sanford, 85, of Bath Springs, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Jay Hugh and Reba Ivy Montgomery.
She was united in marriage to James D. Sanford, who preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Stanford worked for Michael’s Sportswear as a seamstress. Molly was a member of Saltillo Baptist Church in Saltillo, Tennessee and was recently attending Red Walnut Church of Christ in Bath Springs, Tennessee.
She is survived by her son, Jamie Sanford; sisters, Polly Bishop, Melba King, Trissia Goff, and Linda Kirby; and brothers, Paul Montgomery, Ricky Montgomery, and Jeff Montgomery.
In addition to her parents and husband, Molly was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Shelly Sanford.
Memorial services were held on Friday, Feb. 7, at Saltillo First Baptist Church in Saltillo, with Tommy Crocker officiating. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery in Saltillo, Tennessee.
