Aquan (Ack) McClarin Aquan (Ack) McClarin was born in Madison County, Tenn., on Oct. 22, 1976, the son of Janie McClarin. On Jan. 20, 1998, he was united in marriage to Christine Elizabeth Droke, who survives. Mr. McClarin had lived in the Hardin County area for most of his life. He had been employed with Rent-a-Center for five years and most recently Rent One in Jackson, Tenn. Mr. McClarin enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing video games, traveling and taking pictures. He loved his family and liked to aggravate people. He was a member of the Savannah Church of God. Mr. McClarin departed this life on Friday, April 29, at the age of 34 years, 6 months, 7 days. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a sister, Jillian McClarin Ward and husband Jerry of Jackson, Tenn.; grandparents, Martha Ann McClarin of Jackson, Tenn. and Luther Eanes of Savannah; niece, Jasmine McClarin of Jackson, Tenn.; Uncles, Paul McClarin and wife Hope of Jacksonville, N.C., Terry McClarin, Chris McClarin and wife Darlene, all of Jackson, Tenn.; Aunts, Pam McClarin of Selmer, Shirley Morrow and Jessie Morrow, both of Jackson, Tenn.; special cousins, Monica, Rasheeda, Jerrick, Kyra, Shang, Vinnie, Cameron, Chaq, Elizabeth, Farryn, Coby, Jerry (Herman), Bobby, Jacob, and Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, and a very special pet, Spanky. He was preceded in death by a Beloved Uncle, Melvin (Jack) McClarin. Services were held on Wednesday, May 11, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Prentiss Burdine, Eddie Payne officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
