Aaron Lester (1-11-24) service 1-14-24

Aaron Lester, 71, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, the son of the late Ruben Jesse and Dossie Dee Benson Lester.

Aaron worked as a forklift driver for Rosers Sawmill. He was an active member of the Southern Wayne County Wagon Club.

He is survived by his children, Starlet Benson, Jessica Benson, and Ruben Lester; and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Lester.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, Jan. 14, at Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Savannah, with R. L. Qualls officiating.
