Shiloh National Military Park

The firing demonstrations will be presented by the Shiloh cannon crew, firing a 6-pounder field piece, across the street from the park visitor center, at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m, and each demonstration lasts about 20 minutes.

Sunset Symphony

Cherry Mansion, 265 West Main St., Savannah

Hosted by the Savannah Arts Commission. This year’s theme is “Timeless Favorites: from Broadway to the Big Screen.” Germantown Symphony Orchestra will perform selections of classical and popular showtunes, featuring selections from “The Sound of Music,” “Star Wars,” “The Sound of Music,” and more. Free but donations appreciated. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Celebrate Recovery

A group for those recovering from addictions and trauma. Snacks will be provided.

Fly-in breakfast at Clifton Airport is from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Other events beginning at 9 a.m. include memorial park dedication to honor Sgt. David Brown; city wide yard sale on Main Street, craft and food vendors, and live music starting at 6 p.m.
