Nominate your favorite lovebirds for The Courier’s Sweetheart Couple feature

Love is in the air, and The Courier is excited to announce a new feature, the “Sweetheart Couple of 2024.” We’re inviting you, our cherished readers, to participate in celebrating love and devotion in our community.

We’re calling for nominations of couples who exemplify the spirit of love and commitment. Do you know a couple with a heartwarming, inspiring, or simply beautiful love story? Whether it’s a tale of love at first sight, a bond that has stood the test of time, or a relationship that inspires others, we want to hear about it!

How to nominate

Write a short essay (no more than 500 words) explaining why your chosen couple deserves to be crowned the “Hardin County 2024 Sweetheart Couple.”

Email your nomination to magie@courieranywhere.com or drop it off at our office at 375 Main St. in Savannah by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Our staff will carefully review each submission, selecting a couple that truly captures the essence of love and companionship. The winning couple will be invited to The Courier office on Monday, Feb. 5, for an exclusive interview. They will also receive a bouquet of flowers and a selection of gifts from local sponsors, as a token of appreciation and celebration of their love story.

This feature is more than just a contest; it’s a celebration of the enduring power of love in our community. Join us in this heartwarming endeavor by nominating a couple whose story deserves to be told and celebrated.
