Gas leak fixed, Hardin County Middle School will be open tomorrow

Hardin County Middle School students will have school Friday. Students were dismissed early on Thursday, Nov. 30, due to a gas leak in the school's cafeteria area. The gas was shut off and students and staff were reportedly in no danger, but lunch couldn't be prepared and there was no heat. As a result, Director of Hardin County Schools Michael Davis announced the early dismissal of students before noon on Thursday. The gas leak as been repaired and students are expected to report to school at the normal time tomorrow.
