Two people died and two were injured in a motor vehicle collision in Hardin County on Wednesday.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Timothy Mason Marlow, 32, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord and Shelia A. Hopper, 57, was driving a 2012 Dodge Journey on Tenn. 69. The vehicles collided near the Morris Chapel community, south of the intersection of CW White Drive around 10:12 a.m.
Marlow and a passenger in the Honda he was operating, Byron C. Bromley, 62, were killed. Neither was wearing a seat belt. A third occupant in Marlow’s vehicle, Laura A. Bishop, 28, was injured and was wearing a seat belt.
Hopper, the driver of the Dodge, was also reported to be wearing a seat belt and was injured.
The THP said all the occupants of the vehicles are from Tennessee.
The highway was blocked for several hours as a result of the head-on crash, the Hardin County Fire Department said.
My deepest sympathies for the families.
Please keep my husbands family in your prayers.
Prayers for all involved. This is so sad. Please be careful out there
