Easter bunny hopping to Savannah Market on Saturday

Hardin County UT Extension Director Sondra Thorne reports Second Saturdays has grown to a record number of vendors this year as she prepares for the first event of 2023.
She said nearly 30 vendors have been busy getting ready for the day, which is set for Saturday, April 8, at Savannah Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thorne has planned some fun activities for the entire family. The Easter bunny will be at the market to visit with the children and provide a photo opportunity. Each child and adult who comes to the event in April will get to select a prize egg. A Second Saturdays Kick-Off gift is inside each egg.
Second Saturdays is in its fifth year and Thorne said there has been tremendous growth since the first event.
Visitors will continue to have the opportunity to shop all their favorites from last year, plus several others.
“Bring your family and enjoy items such as baked goods, handmade soap, jewelry, plants, leather wears, home decor, personalized clothing, retail, and much more. This will be your one-stop location for delicious food and unique, homemade and homegrown items from local vendors and a mix of a few retail items as well,” Thorne said.
