Hard Rock Road equipment repair to disrupt water service in area

UPDATE, MARCH 30 – Repairs to the pressure regulator station at Hard Rock Road are now completed and normal water service has resumed, the Savannah Utility Department announced Thursday at noon.

ORIGINAL STORY – The Savannah Utility Department said Monday it will soon be making repairs to the pressure regulator station at Hard Rock Road.

According to the department, SUD water customers will experience a temporary interruption of water service on Thursday, March 30.

Affected areas include Mt. Hermon, Bucktown, Cerro Gordo, Old Clifton Road north of Horse Creek, and Russell Chapel Lane.

Water service is expected to be restored by Friday, March 31.
