Sen. Walley to hold telephone town hall meeting to hear from local citizens

State Sen. Page Walley (R-Savannah) announced he has scheduled a “telephone town hall meeting” to talk to citizens regarding issues before the Tennessee General Assembly and to listen to their concerns.
“The legislature is facing decisions that affect all citizens on many important issues such as our state budget, tax relief, roads, transportation, education and abortion, to name a few,” Walley said. “I want to be open and available through this telephone town hall forum to hear from as many of my constituents as possible.”
The call will take place on Tuesday, March 14 at 6 p.m. District 26 residents will be automatically called when the event starts. Citizens can also participate by dialing toll free 855-269-4484.
Walley is the vice-chair of the Senate State and Local Government Committee, and a member of the Senate Finance Ways and Means Committee, as well as the Senate Energy, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. He represents Chester, Fayette, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Lawrence, McNairy and Wayne counties in District 26 in the state Senate.
