Courier announces first ‘Best of the Best: Readers Choice Awards’ competition

The Courier announces its first “Best of the Best: Readers’ Choice Awards” for Hardin County.
Readers can be entered in a drawing to win $100 just by voting for their favorite area businesses and people.
The major categories are: Medical, Individuals, Food and Drink, Automotive, Personal Services, Service, Professional, Community, Retail Store, Home and Garden, and Recreation/Entertainment.
There are a total of 142 candidate subcategories on the ballot. Readers can vote in as few as 20 to be counted, but to qualify for the $100 drawing must vote in at least 80.
Our thanks go to the many businesses helping to sponsor the Readers Choice contest by advertising around the ballot, but readers are free to write in any name they want.
Winning candidates will receive a personalized certificate suitable for framing declaring their status as the “Best of the Best” for 2023.
The official ballot will be published in The Courier for four consecutive weeks starting Jan. 12. Only ballots cut from the newspaper will be accepted, and are due by Feb. 9. Complete rules are on the ballot.
In advance, we appreciate everyone who votes to help choose the Best of the Best winners. And as always, thanks for reading, subscribing, advertising and supporting community journalism.
