Jimmy Wilkerson (1-5-23) service 1-9-23

Jimmy L. Wilkerson, 67, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 5. He was born on Nov. 17, 1955, in Hardin County, the son of the late Edd and Margie Aleen Grimes Wilkerson.
Mr. Wilkerson worked in the paint room at Parris Manufacturing Company. He loved fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and watching WWE and sports.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Wilkerson; daughter, Lori Wilkerson; sisters, Sandra DeShazier and her husband Walker, and Virginia Stricklin; and grandchildren, Kaley Wilkerson and Hunter Wilkerson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Cowgill Wilkerson; daughter, Christy Wilkerson; sisters, Betty Wilkerson and Windy Wilkerson; and brothers, Bobby Wilkerson and James Caroll Wilkerson.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 9, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Geneva Middleton officiating. Burial followed at Jowers Cemetery in Savannah.
